Warm water aqua walking helps my Fibromyalgia more than any other exercise I have found. It also helps keep my replaced knee loosened up. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Other members are friendly and courteous. $67 for senior couple fits into our “fixed income” budget perfectly. We are so glad we found the Armbrust YMCA.

Love that the coaches care about the kids, but mostly I LOVE when the refs blow the whistle, stop the game and take a few seconds to teach the kids the right way to play (double dribbling, not dribbling, reaching around arms, etc.) as many kids are learning the game and don't know what happened. This is the best, and I notice it more with the older refs (not the younger teens, 20-somethings). They should all be coached on when/how to do the same.

My daughter loved going to the YMCA when we lived in Florida last summer and I had hoped she could go to one here in Omaha. I found the Armbrust YMCA and signed her up. Some of the weeks were closed, but she was able to get into most of the weeks at first. The staff have always been polite and kind; they really seem like they love the kids. They were super awesome as well, to accommodate for the weeks that my daughter was on the waiting list, and contact me when they had open spots. Having a new job, this helped me out. My daughter has had nothing but fun there all summer. She even talked today about seeing animals today and identifying one of the snakes as a ball python (we have several at home). She loves swimming there and playing games with the counselors and other kids. Overall, everyone has been wonderful since the first day I took her to camp. I really hope she is able to return next year. Thank you all so much!

Nice variety of group exercise classes offered at convenient times. Trustworthy and friendly child care is a big plus. The facility is always clean. The pool is kept at a nice temperature. The coffee is a nice touch.

Let be swim aerobics- miss Candace but love most of the classes. Super nice employees and enjoy getting to chat with other attendees

We love the weight lifting program for youth that is offered at the ymca. We love the pool for sun water workouts also.

I’ve been going to Amburst YMCA every day for over a year, and I think it’s about time I write a review for them. What I love about this place is that it’s not just a gym — it’s a true community. The people who work here are amazing and so welcoming. Everyone says “good morning,” from the person collecting trash in the parking lot to the front desk staff and even instructors whose classes I haven’t taken yet. I really enjoy joining the group exercise classes, especially Anna’s classes. She’s the director of this branch, and her workouts are always awesome and different every day. You never know what’s coming next! Today was extra fun because everyone dressed up for Halloween. Actually, they celebrate all month long, not just on Halloween day. It’s so much fun to see people doing burpees in skirts, bear crawls while holding teddy bears, and working out in all kinds of costumes. Last week was my birthday, and they made me feel so special. It’s not just the regulars, everyone here is included and made to feel welcome. Another thing I really appreciate is how well they manage the youth sports programs. They often group kids who go to the same school together, which helps them make friends early. My son met friends before kindergarten because of the YMCA program! I could go on and on about how amazing Amburst YMCA is. I truly love going there every day. Happy Halloween! 🎃

Wonderful place! I have been coming here since I was a kid; moving from the pool to the workout area and it is still amazing. Recommend to anyone who doesn't want to be bothered at the gym and wants to focus on actually working out. 15 or so treadmills and a lot of other machines. Kind and professional staff. Can't praise this YMCA enough!
